Etty lives in Melbourne, Australia, where she practises interior design and fine arts. She goes to Bali at least twice a year for extended periods, as she finds its environment and people inspirational. She stays in Legian in her own apartment which has recently been modernised and refurbished to make her stay enjoyable and comfortable. She doesn’t see her apartment as a commercial proposition, but would like to rent it out occasionally to cover some of her expenses, but only to people who are willing to treat her apartment with respect and who will look after it well.
